Myeloma Man?

Hey everyone, I'm Phoebe, I'm 16 and this is my first blog. I haven't ever done this before, so forgive me if this is rubbish...hopefully I'll get better! I started this blog becuase I want to raise awareness of Myeloma, which is a cancer of plasma cells in the blood. I don't want this to be a sympathy blog, I simply just want to raise more awareness of the illness as it's one of the cancers that isn't talkled about as much as others. Why am i doing this? My dad Chris was diagnosed with Myeloma in February 2010 and has had loads of different treatments etc. Previously dad had been completely healthy so it was definately a shock to us. Myeloma is one of those diseases that actually many people have, but no-one ever really talks about. So, I just want to share dad's story with anyone who's interested really, and hopefully raise more awareness of the disease. It might take a while to get started, but hopefully this will be slightly interesting or eye-opening. If you're reading this, thank you! It's much appreciated :)
